Connectivity and Equipment

1. Come prepared and use a laptop or desktop machine
2. Test your microphone and webcam first!
3. Use a VPN to punch through any firewall to ensure audio and video or disable firewalls if you’re the administrator like at home, e.g.:
   1. Turn off Microsoft Windows Defender
   2. System Settings → Network → Firewall Off on Apple OS X
   3. Terminal → sudo systemctl stop ufw on Ubuntu Linux usually or whatever commands are necessary
